The George Washington (GW) Flow Cytometry Core Facility provides researchers access to well-characterized cytometry equipment for sophisticated cell sorting and cell analysis experiments, as well as services in data analysis, instrument training and cytometry education. The goal is to facilitate the production of accurate, reproducible cytometry data in support of the academic and research mission of the GW scientific community.

The core facility is open to all schools and departments of the GW community, as well as to researchers from external academic, industrial, and governmental institutes. See https://smhs.gwu.edu/flow-cytometry/ for more information.

Reporting to the Associate Director of the GW Cancer Center, The School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) is searching for an incumbent for its Flow Cytometry Core Administrator position. This experienced position performs research and handles any outreach, operational, and administrative functions of the GW Flow Cytometry Core, to include data collection, annotation, report generation, marketing, and relationship-building. This research position often handles administrative duties operationally, in addition to providing strategic input for the FCC.
