This post will based at the Centre for Inflammation Biology & Cancer Immunology (CIBCI) at Guy's Hospital campus and within King's Health Partners CRUK Centre. The goal of the KHP CRUK Centre pursue a multidisciplinary research avenues from patient immune profiling through ex vivo tumour models to basic molecular and cell cancer biology. At CIBCI, in particlualr, we are leveraging expertise in inflammatory diseases to extend fundamental and applied knowledge of tumour immunobiology.
In this context, the post holder will create novel analytical pipelines for multidimensional data sets, including single cell RNA sequencing, mass cytometry and flow cytometry, from both patient samples and experimental models, with the ultimate goal of deconstructing the tumour immunemicroenvrionment and it's bearing on cancer.
The post holder will also be involved in the training and supervision of PhD students and junior research associates in the application of bioinformatics tools.
The post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 26 months.
