As a Flow Cytometry Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring competence of the clinical, technical and scientific aspects of Hematology, Coagulation and Flow Cytometry. Provide accurate, efficient and cost effective testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Provides technical expertise to Baylor St. Luke's Laboratory and other regional or Texas division institutions. Join our lab team today!



  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent science degree in the biological sciences

Minimum Experience:

  • Five (5) years of intermediate clinical laboratory experience in a high-complexity hospital or commercial laboratory performing Flow Cytometry and 8-color analysis.
  •  Two (2) years’ experience in technical development of methods and software applications and DIVA software, gating and analysis of data.

Minimum Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced experience establishing, writing and maintaining SOPs for validation, implementation, quality control, proficiency testing, patient testing and specimen handling and processing.
