The position can be awarded for up to at least two years. Our team aims at identifying biomarkers which are related to response to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and survival in colorectal cancer patients. We also work on colorectal cancer cell lines and zebrafish in order to understand the mechanisms involved in therapy-induced cell death or resistance. The study is related to huge data analyses including DNA, RNA and protein based on our results and open data such as TCGA etc. These studies will provide information for selecting patients for more suitable therapies in the future.
We are looking for highly motivated scientists with 1) a strong interest in bioinformatics, and/or 2) experimental cancer research of molecular biology, biochemistry or medicine. The position provides the opportunity for considerable innovation in a translational research field at the interface of cell biology, radiation biology and experimental oncology.
The applicants should have knowledge on AI/bioinformatics and/or good knowledge of practical expertise of patient material, culturing cells and molecular biology techniques.
The deadline for the application is April 30, 2021.
Interested scientists should please send their application (CV, academic record and two referees) to:
