The Yale School of Medicine Flow Cytometry Core has a job opening for a cytometry research technologist.
Yale is well-known for its leading immunology, cell biology, pharmacology and cancer research. The research environment is very vibrant. Our facility is well-developed with over 500 active registered users from over 200 different labs. The facility is comprised of 7 sorters, 13 analyzers including an Amnis Imagestream X, 2 CytoFlex LXs, 2 BD Symphonies (6 laser) and a Luminex 200. We are looking for candidates with substantial flow cytometry experience. Hands-on experience with cell sorting is preferred but not required. The qualified candidate will operate and maintain a FACSAria II cell sorter as well as maintain a variety of analytic flow cytometers. Responsibilities include advising facility users on experimental design and troubleshooting data acquisition issues.
Qualified applicants should have at least 3 years of flow cytometry experience.
